[It was a hot day as Foxfire layed there, her kittens were now three weeks old and they were so cute laying there, still helpless looking. She smiled as she licked each kit. "My angels its time to wake and see the world" For the first time she was taking them out to see the camp and see the ways of the clan.

Mothkit was first to open her cold emerald eyes. She took after her uncle Wolfstrike when it came to cold stares. She stared at her mother then got up and stretched for her entire life. She got up and walked around, happy to finnaly see the camp.

Wolfstrike walked into the den to see his nephews and nieces. He gave a brief smile at them then stopped before anyone could tell. He walked over to Foxfire to give her a lick. He was happy that she was happy although he wouldn't admit to anyone but himself. He looked at the kits as they awoke.]

[a soft breeze passed through the claws of slushstar. he smiled as he watched his mate with their kits. ever since she had became pregnant he had wondered if all of them would have healthy long lives, and that had always bothered him. he loved foxfire, and his kits were so important to him.

flash followed moth. his small very dark gray tail swirling. his eyes were very wide, and his ears wide open. he, like moth, had developed early. while he wasn't much of a leader, his orange eyes bounced across the hot land.

blinkingkit blinked. surprisingly, he could not see anything. "mommehyy hwy haent muhy eys opened?" he didn't know why he couldn't see, yet he knew that he never could, and probably never could. he was scared. he looked at his mother with his extremely very light blue eyes. ]

[Foxfire had been worried about her youngest kit Blinkingkit ever since her unusual birth. Foxfire's eyes watered. "I..Don't know sweetie" A tear left her eye but her tail cleared it before it rolled to the ground. She smiled and stood up,picking up Blinking kit with her mouth. She put the kit down quickly then sighed. "Wolfstrike will you watch the kmits, im taking Blinking to Slushstar." Before Wolfstrike could even answer, foxfire grabbed blinking and rushed to Slushstar. She put him down in front of him."What are we going to do about Blinking?" she asked crying. her eyes were filled with tears and her face was saoked in them, she had been crying for weeks striaght with no sleep, she looked awful and the only reason she ate was because she needed to help her kits.

Mothkit went after her mom but was stopped by her uncle. She went over to flashkit and licked his ears. "This is awful" she said being the most developed of the three so far. She licked her brother afraid for her sister. ------------------------

Wolfstrike watched the kits but at the same time watched slushstar and Foxfire. Blinkingkit only brought memories of Ravenkit. His eyes water as his heart ached. -------------------------------]

[blinking screamed a shy mewl, and he blinked again, unable to see anything. although he could hear the anxiety and fear of his mother's voice.

slush turned to his mate with sad eyes. "there isn't anything that we can do. i mean, blinking is blind." his eyes begun to water as he closed them. "starclan will lead his way."

flash licked his sister's ear. "i know. i hope hes ok. ive never seen him so scared." he twisted his tail. "whats wrong wolfstrike?"]

[Wolfstrike's ears' twitched as he heard his name. He wiped his eyes then looked at the kits "Do you guys wanna go out of camp?" without waiting for an answer he picked up flashkit and threw him on his back then he threw the other one on his back. He ran out of camp with the kits.

Foxfire stopped crying and looked at Slushheart "You know what we have to do though,right?" She picked up blinkingkit and ran out of camp,past wolfstrike and to the river. She sat by the river's edge and waited with blinkingkit for slushheart. She licked blinkingkit's head knowing what must be done.]

[flash nodded, and ran after wolf and once he was on his back, he grinned. this was going to be amazing. he couldn't wait to see what was out there.

slushstar followed her, and narrowed his eyes. "foxfire...we can't kill our daughter! she may be blind, but we must give her a chance. we cannot do this, what will we tell the clan? what about flash and moth? please fox we must think of another way. starclanner will give him sight. don't worry."

blinking ached. he could smell his mother's fear scent, and he father. wolf, flash, and moth were not far behind. ]

[Wolstrike leaned down in the bushes, he had moth and flah sitting just a few feet away. He shushed them down as he peared at his sister. She was like him. He was a murderer. but no this was not going to happen to her...there was no way he would allow this to happen. he ran out of the bushes and rammed into Foxfire sazving her for her own good. He stood there egusted. she rolled into the river getting lost in it's current. Wolfstrike licked blinkingkit then looked at slushheart. How could he have let this happen to his daughter/son? Wolfstrike jumped intot he water and eaisly got her out but with slusheart's help he pulled foxfire tot he shore, she stood and looked from wolfstrike to slushheart. Wolfstrike tried to attack slushheart with a powerful blow.]

[flash's eyes blazed open as he watched his mother fall into the water. and his eyes grew in deep hate. and as fast as he could, he clashed his razor sharp knife like claws at wolfstrike's skin.

blinking blinked. his extremely light blue eyes twitched as he tried to see. although he wasn't able. he heard a growl, and a splash, and his own brother's light pawsteps running and claws scraping the dirt. he could smell the fresh water, and was sure that he was beside water.

slushheart dodged the blow. his teeth bared as he bit at wolfstrike. "leave my family alone!" he growled, nearing himeself near his son and his mate. "flash! blinking! moth!" he called them, and whispered to them to make sure to guard themselves, but stay close. he would protect them with his life. "are you ok?" he asked foxfire, slashing his claws at wolfstrike.]

[Foxfire looked away from slushheart...she was a bad mother and didnt deserve to live but maybe that would change. ---------------

Wolfstrike dodged the little kitten easily but nearly yelped as slushheart bit. Wolfstrike shooked around trying to throw the tomcat into the rushing river. -----------

Mothkit hissed and ran after Wolfstrike, missing and getting flung but Wolfstrike into the river. Mothkit yelped from the shore, she was in the water but the water was pulling on her. Mothkit pulled all her wight by pulling on her mom's tail. She got back on the shore and her instinks were clear. She was the oldest and needed to take care of the rest. She grabbed the lightwight Blinkingkit and started to run. She stopped then looked at flash. "Help me! we got to go and wait for mom and dad at camp, its dangerous here!" she hissed as she tried to pulle her blind sister to camp hoping for flash's help.]

[flash glared at his mother. "mom don't worry." he reassured her worried look. he blinked, he had missed wolfstrike, and retreated quickly to dodge maybe a throw into the river. yet instead wolfstrike went to his father. and there was nothing he could do.

slushheart had already lifted himself off of the undergrowth, so getting hit landed in his weak spot. he plunged into the river. he pushed himself up as the water flung against his body. he finally made his way up to the shore, his body dripping, and he tried to bite wolfstrike again.

flash followed his sisters, and helped moth carry blinking. they rushed to their camp.]

wolfkit walked out from the shadows. She walked into a barn. The smell of blood wasn't fresh. It had lingered here for what must have been moons. It didn't smell like someone killed fresh kill. It smelled like a dead Windclanner.[ooc: this is where Wolfstrike lingers...oooo what if Longkit and Wolfkit are bffffffffs? hrrm no Darkkit today] Wolfkit too a deep breath. Her and her best friend,longkit were here together but she was still scare, her being the one who knew who was here besides them.

it was dark. the only light that escaped into the barn was a broken window and a small opening that only a cat could fit through. longkit's shiny coat brushed across the side of the hole, barely missing a scratch. he followed wolfkit. "well...what lives here? im guessing that you know." he wasn't scared. actually he was excited. it smelt of dead windclanner, and he scraped his lips with his rough tongue. his strangely blue-green eyes scattered as he turned to face wolfkit.

She looked at him with her almond shaped amber eyes. She had tried to be the loner of the group. She tried to have that cold stare like her dad and she used to complain that she couldn't scare people like he could. He would tell her the same thing each time. 'your a sweet kit,Wolfkit. Dont worry about it. Your like your dad and you will get it with time.' she laughed to herself then smiled at Longkit. He was so cute For a guy she meant. "You'll...see" she sighed as she jumped on the ladder and went to the loft. She looked over the edge at Longkit. "Get up here!" she said playfully.

of course longkit just wanted to jump up the whole thing in one jump. his round blue-green eyes glared up at wolfkit. he was evil in his heart, he knew it. although at the same time he couldnt wait to be a loyal warrior. loyal meaning things he couldnt yet understand. he jumped, his long claws gasping to reach the side of the loft. he made it most of the way up. his long dark gray coat brushing against the harsh yellow hay, and his belly fur picking up small prickles as he climbed his way higher. finally he made a last pounce, and aimed to hit into wolfkit. laughing, he tumbled off the top, and clung to the hay with his knifelike claws. "im up! whatcha need now? or did i just run up here just to look at you? eh?"

Wolfkit rolled her eyes. He tended to be a jerk but she didnt care. They had been buddies forever."come here and keep it down." she walked over to behind a bundle of hay. A white ball of a mess layed on the other side. A scar covered the right side of his eye. Wolfkit couldn't help but gasp. She went to the other side of him and and licked his face. He awoke immeadatly.

"Wolf...Wolfkit?" he asked quietly. his once cold eyes were now nothing but emptiness. When she nodded he got up and licked her. "I love you so much."

longkit blinked, round eyes circling his form before he bit his tongue. "you're boring." he concluded, giggling. "who's this, you're future mate?" he turned, jumping a higher piece of hay. what was this? he couldn't imagine wolfkit and this rogue, or loner, or whatever this cat was, being of any relation. "is this bag of rags your father? he seems a little wimpier than i remember." he rose an eyebrow.

Wolfkit growled. "No hes my future mate. I'm madly in love with his smelly smell and his moppy hair! You Moron! Hes my dad!" She nuzzled in his cheast, her small statue versus him was immensly noticable. She smiled.

Wolfstrike got up and looked at Longkit."You not so strong yourself."he flicked the little kit in the head with his finger."you have no room to talk."

Wolfkit cried" dad come home!"

Wolfstrike sighed. "no, expecially if hes in the clan now!"

"i liked it him when you were madly in love with him." he sighed, getting flicked in the head by a claw. "hey! im not that weak, for a kit. ive won every fight ive been in." longkit's round eyes narrowed as wolfstrike smart talked him. "i rule this clan. psh, with that attitude you'll never get back!" he smirked. "dont worry, im not that bad, am i? nahh. so, why are you here in the first place?" he asked, licking his lips as he smelt mice. "i understand why you don't wanna leave, though."

Wolfstrike rolled his eyes " what would a mear kit know?" he walked over to the window on the loft, looking out, it was getting dark soon and they would end up in trouble. But it was terribly dark and it would be smarter for them to stay and not get eaten by badgers or anything.

Wolfkit sighed. She wanted dad to like him."hes not in our clan dad. Hes a Riverclanner."

Wolfstrike smiled. and then he started to laugh loudly, like the funniest joke ever was told.

long's ear twitched. he hated being mocked. "i know a lot of things actually. ask away birdbrain." his round eyes seemed to be getting bigger, and the light was fading away. "i'll have to get to camp soon. although i do think that this place is a nice home. what else lives here?" he blinked. "a riverclanner. no duh. thats why i smell like mousebrained, or should i say fishbrained, fishes."

Wolfkit licked Longkit's ear. "Why dont you stay here with me and dad? just for tonight?"

Wolfstrike hissed but then soon quieted. "let the midgit go home. you the fishbrained one here! I havent been with any kind of alive cats since as long as i can remember! Sorry if im not 'up to date' with your new smell!"

Wolfkit sighed. She didnt want them fightning like this.

"define alive." he blinked. "what else can a riverclan cat smell like. river? well that smells the same as a fish. besides, im sure you'd prefer if i got eaten by a badger." longkit jumped down, his claws unsheathed and digging into the droplets of foliated hay. "i'll just go and get high. ill be back in the morning!"he reached the door and lifted a paw, quickly pounced through, and waited.

Wolfkit ran down after him and ran out the door, steping in front of him. "Please dont go... I havent seen my dad in moons and i miss him and...I want you here with me...PLEASE DONT GO!" she cried licking his ear affectionatly.

"that means you should have quality time and maybe get pregnant while you're at it." longkit's ear twitched again. apparently it was cold, cause he twitched when he was cold. "sure, i guess ill stay. i like it here."

Wolfkit walked side by side with him up the steps to the loft.

Wolfstrike smiled. "Im glad you caught up with him." he said although he really didn't " Ill cetch dinner." He walked to the steps and disappreas re appearing with two mouses. He dropped one in front of longkit and then shared one with Wolfkit. "Is Moonshard ok? what about Distantkit,pantherkit and sparkkit? are they ok?"

Wolfkit smiled and nodded "all fine...dad could you be nice to Longkit?"

Wolfstrike sighed" i just dont like him"

longkit smiled. "no, moonshard's sad, distantkit's gay, panther's ok, and sparkkit lost an eye." he giggled. "you should be asking why i can't be nice to him!"he directed that to wolfkit, although he knew that wolfstrike and him didn't get along very well. "of course you don't like me. there's not enough 'cats that like longkit' spots open. sure sucks to be you."

Wolfkit sighed. Even though she was Wolf'kit' she was only 7 moons old. "You know its not like that its just your never nice to anyone and he started it. " she licked the side of his head. "I like hanging with you Longkit, but you need to calm down..." she smiled licked his face again before looking at Wolfstrike. "Why dont you like him ...I Lo- like him why cant you?"

Wolfstrike" he treats your crappy but on top of that... Love is what killed Ravenkit and it wont happen to you! I wont let it!"

Wolfkit sighed. "Dad...Love didnt kill her you did." She took a deep breath, seeing the hurt in his eyes. the pain had only grew it never went away. Is that why he was here? He had her memory but couldnt beilive what he had done? Wolfkit sighed, her eyes watering. "Me and him get along well thank you very much!"

"and fish kill mice and birds kill squirrels and wolf kills raven." long looked at him with a cold stare, round eyes narrowing at the fact that wolf did kill raven although wolves dont kill ravens and if they did they would eat them, that concluded in him asking. "did you eat raven?"he turned to wolf. "for now." he widened his eyes. "yeahh, anyway. ive decided im going to become a rogue! isn't that great." long felt sick. he jumped down from the loft and landed on a pail. it was harsh on his pawpads, yet he managed to get off and realize he hadn't eaten his mouse yet. so he had to jump back up, quicly eat half his mouse, let the rest decay, and jump back down.

Wolfkit smiled" thats a good thing... what about your dad. Twilightbrook loves you and your mom, reedwater loves you. or Darkkit or fogkit bluekit? are you abandoning them...me?" moving towards the edge for a better look.

Wolfstrike jumped down, hoping to land on the...that URG! that jerk's back. he unsceathed his long claws. He opened his jaw to bite at that weasel's neck.

Wolfkit shrieked. "Dad NO!" but he didnt stop, trying to hurt longkit. Not kill him just break a leg or something.

longkit yelped, was it, and fell into the bucket. "hey!" he heard a crack, and felt extreme pain run through one of his legs. he growled, and howled. "that hurt moron!" he couldn't get up, yet he felt himself sink deeper into the pail. somehow, from on top of the pail, he had fallen in, and ended up twisting something. his vision was blurry, yet he looked up at wolfkit, and his round blue-green eyes shook as he tried to calm down from the pain of it all. "maybe ill be here longer than i think! i dont think i can get out of this pail."

Wolfkit literally flew from the top all the way to the bottom. She jumped into her dad as he looked like he would attack again. she bit on his leg, tasting the blood spill all of the floor and on him and on her. She jumped to the loft and found a rope, she luped it under the pail and pulled him up. She grabbed his tail with her teeth and tugged until he was free. Then she set up some hay for him to rest on. She licked visiuosly at his legs. wanting him to be alright. She began to sob, soaking him in her tears. "I'm so sorry"

Wolfstrike climbed up into the loft and fell on a pile of hay 2 feet or so from Longkit. he looked tired but his leg was bleeding terribly. "How could you wolfkit? Im family hes-"

she cut him off." Your what? Family? oh i dont think so family is somone who STICKS to you and helps you and is there when you need them...no your a coward." Wolfkit sobbed, unable to see barely.

Wolfstrike starred at her, his mouth wide open.

longkit's teeth were clued together in pain. he looked at his leg, it was twisted, bloody, and about to kill him from loss of blood. "dont stick here, go get some medicine and herbs, hurry, please."

Wolfkit licked his cheek and disappeared quickly.

Wolfstrike looked at the kit's leg. "Do you love my daughter?" he demanded. wanting answers quickly without her in the room.

"did i have intercourse with what? nahh. i dont love anyone."

"you moron! i didnt been sex. Do you have feelings for my daughter? or is she just your little toy?"

"ya. she's my little toy. no duh. she's just my friend."

"she doesnt feel the same about you. She adores you and if your just her 'friend' i want you to leave her alone. I dont want her to hurt. shes been through enough already...are you going to hurt my daughter?"

"listen obnoxious. i understand why she likes me. but who do you think is in more pain right now?!"

"If you only plan to be friends with her then go after she comes back...leave her alone! dont hurt her. or so help me starclan ill break the other leg!" a few minutes later and Wolfkit was back.

"I got something better then herbs. I got Basilstorm!" she moved to allow for Basilstorm to come through. "Help Longkit first, my dad can wait."

longkit growled at wolfstrike. "you know im not going anywhere." he turned to basilstorm, and watched her wrap his leg up with cobwebs and feed him catnip and yarrow. no poppyseeds? he blinked, she had her ways apparently. "thank you." he murmured.

basilstorm looked at wolfstrike. "you've been missing for moons, im surprised to find you here. well you're going to have to press these cobwebs on that bite."she passed him some. "eat these." she gave him some poppy seeds, and turned back to longkit. "rest, and then maybe wolfstrike will carry you come, and you're medicine cat can treat you in the morning." and with that she was out of the barn in a tail swish.

longkit turned to face wolfstrike with his round blue-green eyes. "im going to be here for a long time." his ear twitched.

Wolfkit looked from longkit to her dad and back again." what happened she said softly,trying not to give Longkit a head injury with her squeky voice.

Wolfstrike stared Longkit down with the cold eyes he always had. They burned into longkit's pelt.

"weren't you watching?" he sniffed, staring back at wolfstrike with his blue-green eyes. his eyes too were cold. yet he still had a tint of innocence, and with his agressive lifestyle, he knew he could at least tell wolfstrike he wasn't scared. "he jumped down onto me when i was on the bucket, and i fell in and you bit him. or at least thats what i think happened. maybe i fell in." he gave wolfkit a 'we all where there' look, and then glared back at wolf.

wolfstrike chuckled to himself. "You moron! she didnt mean that she was talking about when she was gone cause she wasnt here she didnt see us talking." he said in sarcastic voice.

Wolfkit "Wolfstrike thats enough! hes hurt he didnt relize what i meant!"

Wolfstrike felt a stab into his heart. she didnt say dad she said...Wolfstrike. A tear left his eye.

"nahh. this is what happened. he threatened me and asked me if i loved you and to stay away from you. and now you're crying cause she called you by your name!" he felt mad, and he lifted himself, pulling his leg as he tried to find a way to get off of this loft. yet he did not want to retwist his leg.

Wolfkit helped him settle down again."please dont move, ok?" she looked at wolfstrike in disbelief." dad i know he doesnt love me..." she looked at him, her heart panged with pain. She wanted him so much but he didnt care about her. she looked back at wolfstrike, finnally inheriting his cold stare. but she was hurting inside. partally cause she loved somone who didnt love her and because..." dad why do you want him gone?"

"I dont want him to hurt you"

" and what do you think you did?" I pressed.

"its different. I love you i just killed someone and didnt trust myself. i dont know what to tell you."

"dad go home and tell mom im not coming home. I cant stank it there. Ill stay and be a rouge with Longkit"

Wolfstrike hissed. "Your a kit not a warrior like me. I know what im talking about and i love you so much i dont want you to get hurt. Is that so much to ask?"

Wolfkit ignored her dad. She licked Longkit's ears instead.

Wolfstrike grew angrey and picked up his daughter in his mouth walking to leave slowly, his leg hurting.

Wolfkit cried."Longkit help!"

"youre right, i dont love you, but that doesnt mean i dont care about you. you said it yourself, you dont want me to move." he growled as her father took her away, and he urged to get up and bump into him with all of his force. longkit did his best to run and bump, but actually tripped into wolfstrike and bit into, tried to, his leg. he let out a yelp of pain, it was about to bleed again. his scrambled leg burned, and he fell to the ground, fainting.

wolfstrike let go off wolfkit. she ran to longkit licking him,wanting to come back.

wolfstrike hissed but if he went to attack longkit then he would hurt her as well.

long layed there.

reed blinked. around her lay a thicket, and around that thicket was the barn. she heard yelps of pain, and voices, and therefore was attracted to see what the commotion was. she left her patrol to check out the noises, and told them to return to camp. reedwater's shiny coat bristled as she made her way through the hole and growled. "what are you doing here longkit?" then she realized he wasn't moving, and his leg was twisted. she then realized wolfstrike and a smaller kit she thought smelt of windclan. "what are you doing to him?"

Wolfkit stopped licking the bleeding leg and looked at Reedwater. They knew this day would come but they hoped they would have some time. "im Wolfkit and this is Wolfstrike. but i didnt do this...he did." she said blaming her dad. "He attacked him and basilstorm fixed it but then wolfstrike attacked me and.." she looked at long affectionatly "...he tried to save me." she began to cry, her tears washing the blood from the leg to the ground.

Twilightbrook had heard everything on his way up. his uncle had tried to kill his kit. "Wolfstrike how could you!" he ran over to his son. "Longkit wake up" he said licking his son, tears pouring down his cheeks. " wolfkit go get...can you find Basil again?" Wolfkit immeadiatly disappeared. Twilightbrook sighed. He reached out and swiped wolfstrike, causing blood to drip onto the barn,it started gushing. Wolfstrike hissed but couldn't see, blinded by blood.

longkit blinked awake. he felt himself tear, and he felt a wave clash through him. it was a mixture of blood and bones. he screamed, was he dreaming? he just couldn't relax. he had lost to much blood, and his leg was twisted beyond repair. he could never be a warrior. he could never help his clan. he shook his head, and sat, breathing so heavily it seemed like he would die of shock.

reedwater licked her kit. "its ok longkit." she glared lovingly into his wide round blue-green eyes. she knew he was in shock, and growled as wolfstrike. she couldn't belief he would hurt her step kit. "its be ok." she repeated.

Wolfkit ran into the loft, basil following behind. Twilightbrook still cutting the eyes out of his uncle.

basilstorm sighed. she was very busy nowadays. and she had no time for this. yet she knew this kitten was in shock, and so she dipped her head. "he needs sleep. reed, reassure him. make him sleep. why are there so many cats here? what is it, a gathering?" she shook her head and walked out.

Wolfkit sighed. she licked longkit's ears. she started to hum a sort of lulluby she had made up.

Twilightbrook smiled his eyes Ravenious for the first time in his life. Wolfstrike should feel lucky for Twilightbrook not killing him for almost killing his son but crippling his son! he backed away one of wolfstrike's cold stare eye ball hanging from his claw. the once Black cat was now nothing more then a blood red father.

basilstorm came back in. she saw the eye ball on twilight's claw and rose an eyebrow. "what the fuck did you do?" she moved over to whatshisshit and told him. "you're missing an eye. i mean two eyes. both of you eyes. you should be dead right now. you're lucky to have escaped. i mean survived." she left.

reedwater's eyes widened, she was confused, and noticed that right beside longkit, was an eye ball. she shrieked, hissing, and picking up her son and wolfkit and pouncing onto the hay stack and looking down at the toms.

longkit twitched.

Twilightbrook hissed at Wolfstrike.

Wolfstrike sighed. "That stupid mouse brained medicine cat needs help before she kills i mean treats another cat." he laughed to himself then started to search for something. "Wolfkit come here!" he said in a dark voice.

"no thank you im fine here"

Twilightbrook looked at his niece thingymaajiger maybe no maybe she was...hrrm they were first cousins thats it! "Wolfkit you need to come with us ok? Aunt Ravenwolf will know what to do about this. Reedwater ill take wolfkit and you take long ok,honey?"

Wolfkit nodded letting Twilightbrook pick her up easily.

Wolfstrike moaned. "no please. I'm alone i have no where to go and i cant trust my nose as well anymore...how will i live? how will i hunt? Wolfkit you wont leave your dad behind alopne and afraid by himself will you?"

Wolfkit jumped out of Twilight's reach on accident then ran to her dad, nuzzling into his fur. He used his claw, he threw it across her face making the cresent moon scar like he had but on her left eye. Blood trickled around her eye. Twilightbrook licked it away and then picked me up. He kicked wolfstrike in the face then walked away,caring wolfkit.

Twilightbrook sat by the river, his mom always came here. he waited knowing she would show up. He looked behind him looking for his mate and son.

reedwater felt herself sink into the dirt under her weight. she felt motherly, yet she knew her kits wouldnt ever think of her as a true mother. longkit was in her mouth, asleep. he had been asleep for a while now, and she knew that hopefully he would wake up soon and be able to relax and hopefully limp. she looked at twilight. "you're family is amazing. and those words arent said in confidence. i cant belief your uncle would try to kill longkit. and i hope that wolfkit is coping, im really worried about her."

Twilightbrook looked at his cousin. "I could kill my family sometimes. mom can help us with what to do with her." He walked silently from where she was to Reedwater. He put his mouth to her licking her lips gently. he nuzzled his head on her shoulder. for once he was happy.

Wolfkit walked over to them. "Wheres hopefrost. ooo shes gonna get mad at you for doing things with...what was it? Reedwater?"

Ravenwolf walked to the water as usual but was unusual was Twilightbrook."whats wrong Twilightbrook? Reedwater,good evening." she saw the bloody longkit then spotted wolfkit." Wolfkit? is that you? your parents must be worried. Your dad expecially! he loves you so much!"

reedwater nodded. "i could too." she licked twilightbrook's cheek, and set down her son and started licking him. when she heard hopefrost's name, she suddenly stopped. her light emerald green eyes studdering. "she's...dead." she replied, closing her mouth and licking her head. "hello ravenwolf."ravenwolf's nieve comment made her studder as well. yet she wouldn't tell her what happened, especially with her getting stunned by twilight holding his eye on his claw. she found that gross. reed started licking her 'son' some more until he was clean, and licked his face, causing him to wake up.

longkit felt a lick, and smiled as he saw his mother. "hi mom. how is my leg?" pian. "its twisted beyond repair." he hissed at her comment. yet he lowered his head and flinched once he noticed ravenwolf. "i havent seen you in like...my whole life."

Ravenwolf chuckled licking his face" not that long. I saw you just the other day when Hopefrost killed herself." she said it so natual it was unbielivable.

Twilightbrook sighed. "Its Wolfstrike, mom he tried to kill me,longkit and Wolfkit! Hes out of control and i blinded him see!" he lifted the eye then threw it behind him in the river so that way the kits didnt see. Look what he did to Wolfkit. He siad he needed and she went to him and look!" he pointed with his tail at her face. the sun was coming up and Ravenwolf gasped when she saw Wolfkit's eye. Twilightbrook continued. "mom you have to talk to him. You and Slushstar. a leader and a sister should be enough. he adores his brother-in-law." Twilightbrook sighed. " but what about her?"

Ravenwolf smiled" tell Slushstar and as if she could stay...for a while til we find a real solution for her. She cant go home until Wolfstrike is taken care of. She'll be in danger in windclan. go and warn Moonshard too. Ill go get slushstar stay here all of you" she ran off intot he woods and was back alittle bit later. She ran almost running ito a rock. she sat by wolfkit and was quiet...?

slushheart blinked. "whatcha all need me for?" he was shocked to see these cats like this. "reed, twilight, long, raven? are you guys ok?"he looked at them, and saw wolfkit. "who's this?"STOP READING THIS. slusheart moved closer to the river. "well, i know im needed. so, whats the catch?" he noticed the family, and could tell that this would shake riverclan into pieces, and he knew somehow this wasn't going to end up well.

longkit's large round blue-green eyes shifted till they reached his leader, then he looked at ravenwolf. "mommy killed herself?" he must have been the only kit that WASN'T THERE. he was probably in camp stubbornly chewing on catnip. his drug.

reedwater silenced him with her tail. "yeahh, im here to replace her. ill tell you lady ok baby?" she watched him nod and walked up to slushheart. "we need a favor."

Twilightbrook nodded standing next to his mate. "Wolfstrike is in the windclanner's barn hes blind,the eye ball i pulled from his eye is in the river wanna go see?" Ravenwolf cleared her thought and Twilightbrook soon remembered what they needed. "He attacked longkit. my son is crippled and now Wolfkit has a scar over her eye to match her father so whenever she looks into a puddle or something she doesnt see herself she sees him. He might hurt her even though...hes fully blind. we need to let Wolfkit stay here for a while til hes dead. Slushstar he has killed one daughter and tried to kill me and my son and his second daughter. I suggest we meaning you and me go end this once and for all killing wolfstrike." he was grim today.

Wolfkit winced. it was dangerous but this was her father they were talking about killing here!

Ravenwolf looked at longkit,he seemed so sad. "can he be saved? she asked Slushstar "can he live normally be a warrior?"

slushheart's BIG BLUE NOTE. "no, i dont want to see an eyeball. thank you very much." his tail thrashed, and he glared at twilightbrook. "sure, wolfkit can stay here, and windclan is leaderless. so there isn't any point in notifying windclan. he'll end up dying eventually, but i doubt that he'll leave the barn." he glanced at wolfkit, reedwater, and then at ravenwolf. "longkit will have to become an elder. there's nothing we can do. his leg will never heal straight. i don't know how he'll survive. but after wolfstrike has dissapeared he will be old enough to become a rogue with wolfkit."

Twilightbrook hissed under his breath." i want to taste his blood that...monster" he whispered.

Wolfkit smiled. "ill take care of longkit!" she sighed. she had always wanted to be a loner. she wanted to live with her family but now...she was stuck between her dreams and family. She sighed again she would have to take care of him and forget everything she ever knew.

"im sure you do." slushheart laughed.

reedwater sighed. how was this going to end? riverclan was slowly falling apart it seemed. yet she knew it was better for long. "he'll stay in the medicine cat's den while we're waiting right?"

"he'll have to think of a name to name himself for his rogueicy, he can stay in the apprentice's den with wolfkit."slushheart announced.

longkit licked his paw and let out a small sigh. "ill never be able to hunt or anything? why did he have to do that!?" his claws dug into the soil underneath his paws, he hated wolfstrike.

Twilightbrook walked pass reedwater and started to run to the barn. Ravenwolf stayed knowing he wasnt going to let anyone stop him. Ravenwolf picked up her niece and walked side by side with Reedwater to put them in the dens.

---------------------------------- Twilightbrook climbed the ladder quietly. When he got to the top he didnt see just Wolfstrike but Silverstripe was there too. "Sis? what are you doing here? did he even tell you what happened? He almost killed his second daughter along with your nephew!"

Silverstripe sighed. "he said you also blinded him.

Twilightbrook smiled " and im here to finish him. That monster needs to die, step aside."

"Why?"

"how do you figure?" TWilightbrook said harshly wanting to taste his blood.

"if i havent been so cruel to him he would have stayed sweet and calm like before but now hes just in so much pain and now...hes blind. hes afraid Twilight."

I was wrong im sorry. but ill make it better." she grabbed him and put him in the pail that l longkit had used. She made it go down slowly.

wolfstrike sighed." theres blood and...poop and...pee in here! "

silverstripe rushed him down then helped him out."Twilightbrook if you follow or hurt him you can say goodbye totally to longkit!"

Twilightbrook sure enough followed. " hes gonna die!"

Silverstripe turned around and stopped helping Wolfstrike to a rock." im older then you bro i am more expierenced and trust me it wouldnt be hard for me to get into Riverclan.now...go home. Wolfkit is diein baby cakes! Better save her." wolfstrike stopped walked and talked to his right Twilightbrook assumed he was trying to fined him.

Ravenwolf had asked reedwater to meet her at the river, there Ravenwolf waited patiently with Wolfkit at her side cause she couldnt get rid of the pain in her ass.

reedwater made her way through the bushes and near ravenwolf. longkit was in camp, which made her feel much better in a way. "why have you asked me to come here?"

"im worried about Twilightbrook and my eyesight is bad can you see him coming?" she asked her eyes squinting trying to see somthing. but suddenly he walked through the bushes.

reedwater's fur bristled as she looked up into the pink sunset sky. the water was rushing under her. ahead, stood ravenwolf. she lowered her body. yes, she was following her, yet she didn't think that it was a sin. her bely fur touched the water, and silently she kept moving quietly after her.

a new ripple stirred as Ravenwolf was floating gently down the stream. The new cat had scared Ravenwolf. She went under the water fighting against the current very confused and lost. Finnally she arose from the water, her fur glistening with the water and sun. Ravenwolf dragged ehrself to the bank. She got up and calapsed on the bank, feeling weakness on her body. She shook her head then got up and looked in reedwater's direction. Ravenwolf hissed and rushed in reedwaters direction from the bank. There she stood on the bank watching reedwater in the water. Ravenwolf hissed. "Why are you here you...urg! why are you here?" She demanded as she watched the other she-cat float down the river.

reed turned to gaze upon ravenwolf. as the cat reached her, she duck, intending to not be seen, though it was already to late. she lifted a gray eyebrow. her silver stripped flanks pounced as she made her way to the bank. she blinked. "why can't i be here? its not like you own the river!" she blinked again. why was she yelling at her? reed shook her head and sat. "there's no need to be greedy ravenwolf."

Ravenwolf snarled at the ugly she-cat. "I'm not being greedy your being nosey. Who sent you? or are you here cause your curiouiosity got to you? You know...curiosity killed the CAT!" putting enphansis on CAT. She could kill this cat if it wasn't against the warrior code. "What is it you want? I'm not doing things against clan rules! She walked over to a tree and ate some mushrooms under it then continued to walk but then stopped and turned around. she was at least fifty mousetails away from reedwater then it downed on her. "Why did you follow me,kit?" throwing the kit for an extra snarl not expecting the truth anyway

"i am tiny, but im no kit." emerald eye's blazing, reed faced raven with hatred peeling off the ripples in her eyes. reed decided to dip into the water, yet as she reached the water with an anxious paw she stopped. "why was i following you? i think you know the answer to that. i just don't trust you." reedwater dipped her silver flanks into the river and began to swim with the ripples. her claws digging into the shoreline as she reached ravenwolf. her fur crisply smoothed against her edge of the bank. painted to her body, she stripes moved as she shook and glared at ravenwolf. it was dusk, and the water was glowing dark blue. the moon was an eclipse, and shining in a raw dark rust color.

Ravenwolf loved a challenge but her smile soon faded. This wasn't a challenge this was nothing. She sighed and waited for reed to be on the shore with her so they could look face to face and so Ravenwolf could look into reed's eyes as she killed her. ooc:shes a dark bitch huh? i LOVE her! sorry reed

the small female smirked as she reached land with her striped flanks. her emerald eyes grew wider in an amazing hate. her eyes were the passageway to her heart, and the emotion of the light green and amazingly aqua mixed blues swirled. she was angry with ravenwolf. though she wouldn't be the first to draw blood. reedwater challenged her with a glare. light green circling as she faced the older warrior.

She ran jumping up and trying to launch her teeth into reedwater's neck, thirsting for blood that vampire bitch wanted nothing more then reedwater's blood...her death was just a second prize. How well she would be awarded for finding reedwater's body after she had been missing for moon. She would find reedwater dead and ravenwolf's fake crying would please any crowd. reed twirled herself onto her back and unsheathed her claws in a hiss so that they could scratch themselves across ravenwolf's belly, almost getting knocked out by the force of the warrior's fall. she glared into the eyes whatever fucking color they were. it was obvious that sadness mingled in hers, and they gleamed a raw light blueish. she knew she wouldn't lose without a fight. reedwater let out a screech as she felt blood rush through her paw. was she hit? she couldn't tell, yet she couldn't feel weight on her, she knew that raven had missed, and she must have had to. yet as she rose she felt one of her paws twist, and let out a tough blow at ravenwolf.

Ravenwolf dodged but reedwater's nail caught the side of her face. She looked at her stomach litle drips of blood mixed with her black fur. she looked at reedwater with her dark blue eyes with the little red tint to them. her eyes always looked miserable. thats because thats how she always felt. "come on and show me what your mentor has taught you" Ravenwolf hissed laughing at the situation, not feeling her belly as much as she should. her pain from Driftfang had caused her to be numb. She licked alittle of her blood then ran at reedwater but then did a baseball slide and unsheathed her claws so she could scratch the kit's underbelly as she slid by. ooc:slid by on her way to work lol

Twilightbrook walked out from the bushes. he saw Ravenwolf and smiled. "they are so precious, ravenwolf you have to see them...my children!" he didnt sound as enthused as he should. he saw reedwater and smiled. Ravenwolf smiled at him too and didnt even have too look at reed to know she was telling ravenwolf with her eyes to tell twlightbrook the truth. but she didnt think she could. her eyes filled. "Twilightbrook what would you say if i found your mother?"

reedwater looked at him. she couldn't ask him to do that. she stood up as tall as she could. her paws steady, yet her twisted paw still hurt so much that now it was completely numb. "are you saying you can't leave her? even though you're kits don't really need you, if you are indeed the father." she blinked, light green eyes shimmering innocently. "im sorry."

"its fine i just cant because of them and i dont know it feels like im under a spell when im with her. that sounds stupid i know but..."he bent down licking her lips affectionatly. he really liked her but...hopefrost? what did she mean to him? he licked her everywhere that a mate would like his mate. not knowing what it was that she was going to do. he pushed her down on her back and licked her tummy affectionatly. he licked her paw that hurted. he licked her lips, her sweetly tasting lips.

"listen twilight. i dont want to dissapoint you." reed got up, looking down in dissapointment. "but you cant do this. you said you didnt want your kits to be hurt. and you know that you dont want to do this. so dont." she turned around, her light eyes hurting, and she lowered her head softly. she never could earn it. love was love. and if hopefrost somehow found out that twilight loved her both of their lives would be over and messed up beyond belief. "twilight...dont." she repeated as she tried to walk farther. her gentle paws flipping through the grass as she wondered why this was happening. her light silver tabby marked body pinned its way through a small opening between a few trees, shrubs, and bushs. and then she stopped to look back at him, halfway between the end and start of the opening. her light emerald green eyes sparkling in worry, love, and lonliness.

he starred hoplessly at her then ran to her side. "wait...im sorry im..." he looked at his paws. he loved being with ehr and he couldnt stand for this to end."pleas dont go come talk to me by the river. its a beautiful night and please i dont want this to end this way" he said, 'this' being a suspicious word. he sighed. ravenwolf-mom had been right. the one thing he would ever want...was the one thing he couldn't have.

she looked up at him, an expression of great sadness and scaredness running through her face. although she knew she had no choice. she couldn't lethim do this to himself. if she stayed, he would want to love her, and that was a mistake. she wanted it, yet she knew that if she loved him back, she would be saving him from himself, yet killing him at the same time. reed shook her head, she had to go. it wasn't right. "not tonight. hope may not seem to be the one for you. but until you come up with...some sort of reason to get away from her, i can't stay, maybe we can talk another night." she swalllowed, turning and making her way through the opening and finally not turning back.

his eyes filled with sadness. "Would it even matter if i left her? Would you care...would you talk to me please. Turn around!" he yelled yurning for her. "Would it matter if i left her? would you really care?" he said yelling at her so she could hear him. "Please come back"

reed stiffenened so hard she was ready to fall. "i care! you said yourself you couldnt leave your kits. what should i think? ive loved you. yes, i always have. ever since i was an apprentice i thought that one day we could be. if you gave up hope, yes, i wouldnt stop loving you. but dont make that choice just for a tiny silver tabby like me. im nothing more than the daughter of mossflower." her light green eyes shivered. and she closed her eyes to let the tears fall down her cheeks. "what do you want me to say? i will do anything? cause i won't let you do that just for me."

"im doing it for you!" he said, catching up to her." and for me. i dont belong with her. I want you not her. Rave-Mom was right. she said that i wouldnt stay with hope for long. I told her i had nothing else to lose hope for and she said the one thing ill want i wont be able to have. Its you! "im glad. but 'member we're going to see a lot of hopefrost to." she warned, purring inside. her silver tabby coat glistening in happiness. "i love you."

slushheart was happy to, especially that he had a wet muzzle. he could tell that she was worried, and reassured her with a lick. "dont worry foxfire, they'll be fine. every single one of them."

Foxfire's tummy had began to hurt but she was so far from camp. She stepped onto the bank, she had been in the water but only to her belly when her tummy started to quake. She layed on the soft green grass. Her orange tabby fur rustling in the soft breeze. She heard the wind's whisper. "its ok" it seemed to say. she leaned her head over the edge and saw her mother in the water. Foxfire sighed, her heart pounding in her ears. "mom i'm scared" she cried" im alone!" her mother just smiled. "you'll be OK, darling. Don't worry hes coming." Foxfire turned her head and heard no one and saw no one. She looked back at her mom but she was gone. "mom?" her mother had gone. Foxfire hissed. "help!" she cried into the woods, her stomach growing with pain.

the wind was helpless, and the scent of foxfire was strong. slushheart himself was scared for her. she was pregnant, and with her mother being dead and her family wrecked, he just wanted it all to disappear. though he knew their kits were coming, and he was proud to actually be a father. yet as he made his way through the bushes, he felt himself tear. "foxfire! are you ok? i never expected to find you here. i-"his mouth ran. "are you ok?"

She spun her head around at him. she dug her claws into the rich soil as she stood up and walked alittle away from theedge and closser to him but tripped and fell. "the kits" she cried, roaring in pain. She layed on her side, huffing a puffing, feeling like she would die. Her eyes grew with misery. Her claws diggin deeper into the soil. "Slushheart, what do i do? im-" she broke off screaming and hissing wanting the pain to die.

the truth was, slushheart didn't know what to do. he wanted to get chestnutfur, yet he knew if he left her side they would come when he was gone. his minty eyes were so wide they almost popped. "its ok foxfire, it's ok. breathe." that wast he best he could come up with. yet he felt himself sink into the soil. what if one of them died? what is she died from blood loss? so much was going on in his head he just wanted to slice of her head from the pain she was in. he felt that bad for her. slushheart breathed in himself, he knew she would make it. he knew it. or at least he believed it.

Foxfire heaved a great sigh of pain and started to breath. she pushed on her mid section and pop came a kit. Foxfire lifted her head to see a calico kitten. She rested her head on his feet again when another kit came out, a smokey looking tabby. A few minutes after that a black kit with white socks came out. and a few minutes after that a beautiful bright yellow orange kit came out. Foxfire lifted her head to lick her kittens. She liked the yellow one and smiled. "this is Sunshinekit." she licked the black one with white socks. "Moonkit" she licked the dusty looking one. "Dustkit" she said giggling alittle. She licked the calico kitten and looked at Slushheart with wide eyes,tears folling down her face." shes...dead" she said horrified. "she dead. I killed her" she said beginning to sob.

slushheart licked each kitten in turn. first, she noticed the calico. his eyes widened to. "its not your fault foxfire." he reaussured her, licking her. second, he looked at dustkit. his coat was gleaming with blood, and he realized she had lost a lot. yet that wasn't abnormal. he was glad. he licked him. he moved his gaze to the second youngest, moonkit, and licked her on the face. her color was wonderful. lastly, he licked sunshinekit. her coat was abnormally light for a ginger female, yet he shrugged and moved on to nudge his mate with his jaw. "its ok." he began to cry. "she wasn't in any pain. don't worry, she's in better claws now." he didnt even impress himself.

Foxfire smiled and licked Slushheart's jaw. "i love you" she whispered. ----------------------------()--------- ----------------- -------

Foxfire looked outside, her kits still sleeping. she was waiting for her sister but also waited for her mate. "Dad will be here soon" she whispered to the kits, wanting to get them awake for thier dad.

slushheart looked up at foxfire from dipping his head into the nursery. 'i love you.' he told her with loving eyes.

Foxfire smiled. she licked her kits,waking them up even more.

"Daddy!" moonkit gleamed as she helped Sunshinekit find her dad. When they got ot Slushheart she jumped on his back"Daddy i wanna be a medicine cat! Wolfkit said that i can do whatever i want if i put my mind to it and thats what i want to do! when are you going to make her a apperentice? shes getting older. " Moonkit smiled and slide off of his back and went in front to Sunshinekit.

slushheart licked his daughter. "ill think about it." he smiled. "careful sunshine." he mewled to his daughter.

sunshinekit blinked, trying to see, yet she had realized that she couldn't. she could hear her sister's anxious mew. "mooneh, where am i?" she said softly, tripping into her and giggling.

Moonkit smiled. " where in the nursery. Dads here!" she said smiling brighter. "dad you didnt answer me"

sunshinekit knew their dad was there. she had heard him come in, and his voice. "yea i know that sis."

"i said ill think about it. its still a few moons before you become an apprentice." slushheart mewd.

moonkit rolled her eyes. "not me dad, Wolfkit. " she turned to sunshinekit" then what do you mean?"

"wolfkit is leaving the clan to become a rogue with longkit."

"i know that dads here." she mewled, blinking to her sister.

"I want her to stay though" moonkit meowed.

Wolfkit walked in " i cant moonkit, longkit will always need me. and dont call me wolfkit. I was only named wolfkit for one reason and i wont stand for that name anymore if you want my attention call me Lily." she sighed thinking about her dad and sat by Foxfire.

Moonkit smiled." what are we going to do today dad?"

slushheart nodded to wolfkit. "ok, lily." he turned to moonkit. "i don't know. today has been a pretty busy day. maybe you can go with your mother to check out the stream near camp. "

sunshinekit smiled. "i can't wait!" she blinked.

Foxfire got up and walked to Sunshinekit,picking her up and throwing her on her back, making sure she was safe. She picked up dustkit and put him next to sunhinekit so he could sleep. she picked up Moonkit and put her next to her siblings. She licked Slushheart's cheek "be careful" she whispered as she walked out of the den.

Moonkit awoke, beaming. " wake up" she screamed. she licked her paw and cleaned her head. They were going to be apperentices today and she couldnt wait at all. She waited to hear her dad's voice call for a meeting.

sunshinekit blinked open her eyes. she felt her breath on her nose, she wanted to see. with another small breath she got to her paws. she couldnt wait for the meeting. "morning sis."

Moonkit smiled, standing next to sunshinekit. ,She linked her tail into hers so she could guid her sister to the rock. Moonkit sat down still holding her sister's tail in hers waiting for thier dad to say somthing.

Foxfire awoke. she sat up also waiting for SlushSTAR

slushheart jumped onto the place that i dont know what it is called cause i havent looked. he called for the cats to gather, and started. "it is time for some of our kits to become apprentices. sunshinekit, moonkit, and dustkit please come forward."

sunshinekit's tail twitched. "come on moonkit. daddy's calling. this way." she teied to lead her sister, finding her way out of the nursery and into the clearing.

Moonkit locked her tail with her sister's then walked over to the great rock, sitting by Dustkit and getting ready for thier mentors.

Foxfire ran to join them, sitting behind Sunshinekit.

"dustkit. it is time that you have become dustpaw. congratulations, you're mentor is twilightbrook. moonkit, you shall be moonpaw and you're mentor will be chestnutfur. sunshinekit, you will become sunshinepaw and i will mentor you."slushheart smiled, yet inside he was worried if his daughter could ever be a warrior. he was unaware of moon and sunshine's abilities of twinhood. yet he knew they were twins. "i am announcing the fact that two of our kittens, lily, wolfkit, and longkit are leaving the clan to become rogues because of long's disability to fight and become a warrior."

sunshinepaw sniffed the air. he found slushheart's scent and followed it. she rose her paws to reach out for the rock, and once she found it she moved forward in an upward motion. she tried to touch noses with slushheart, and he ended up reaching her. she felt him raise her, and lowering her to the rock.

Moonpaw touched noses with chesnutfur then smiled at her sister. "congrats" she said smiling. she licked her sister's cheek as chestnut fur called her away to train.

Foxfire walked to Slushstar whispering into his ear. "can she train?" she asked worring.

slushheart looked at foxfire. "i don't know." he whispered. "we'll have to wait until her sister is free, she lead's her." he lowered his head.

sunshinepaw let her tail go. she missed her sister already. "hey daddy can i go wa-" she stopped, blinking. "can i go help my sister?"

slushheart nodded to sunshinepaw. "yes, you can go help your sister. she'll probably need it."

sunshinepaw walked to the medicine cat's den, or what she called the place that smelt of medicine. cause it just happened to. she blinked, trying to find her sister's scent. she heard pawsteps, yet were they of her? she didn't know. she heard soft pawsteps, and moved forward to the den.

Moonkit looked behind her, Sunshinekit was walking...? "Sunshine!" Moonkit yelled hurring to help her sister " are you ok?" she said, freaking out wanting her to be ok. she locked her tail with hers to make sure that she didnt get hurt. Moonkit turned to chesnutfur. " can my sister be here while im training?" she asked quietly.

"dont worry, im fine. i can't see, but that doesn't mean that i can't use my other senses. its amazing how being blind can make you realize how important your other senses are." she blinked, she wasn't helpless.

chestnutfur nodded. "sure, she can watch."

Moonkit smiled and licked her sister's fur. Moonkit smiled again and looked at chesnutfur. " what do i learn first?"

"how well do you know you're herbs?"

Moonkit looked at her feet. "um...poppy seeds for pain i think and mouse bile for ticks but its disgusting or lethal i forgot for you to lick it or somthing..." she felt bad about it. she didnt know anything.

"never lick mouse bile." chestnutfur mewed. she listed a few herbs, and nodded to moonpaw. "tomorrow we can train some more. just try remembering this herbs so you can state them for me tomorrow. remember. yarrow, catnip, juniper leaves, and mouse bile."

sunshinepaw blinked. "yarrow leaves are for chewing and healing wounds and headaches. catnip is for getting high and healing. juniper helps, and mousebile is for ticks. i get it."

Moonkit giggled. "your not suppose to get i am! " she smiled. "yarrow leaves for headaches and wounds. Catnip for healing. Juniper and mouse bile for ticks..." she locked her tail with sunshinekit's see you tomorrow we got to go say good bye to Lily and Longkit!" Moonkit walked side by side, tail locked with Sunshinekit to the clearing where lily and longkit were. " were gonna miss you" she said sighing.

Lily smiled licking both kits " we will be ok."

sunshinepaw giggled. "just helping."

longkit nodded. "yea, we will. dont worry about us."

Lily licked Longkit. "are you ok to go? chesnutfur said that your legs have healed as much as they would."

Moonkit smiled, licking lily's cheek and longkit's legs.

"my leg is fine. i just have a limp. i can still hunt and protect myself."

sunshinepaw smiled. licking her sister's cheek.

Lily sighed. She spotted Foxfire and Slushheart walking over to them. She leaned forward whispering into Sunshinekit and moonkit's ears. "We will be in the barn for about a moon until we know exactly what were going to do. Come and visit us but wait until Sunshinekit grows stronger and moonkit knows more herbs in case somthing happens or we need you." she looked up at Slushheart and Foxfire. "good bye guys"

slushheart nodded goodbye.

sunshinepaw blinked. "buhbye. ill miss you too. just in case, what are you going to call yourself longkit?"

"ill think of a name for myself, maybe lily will. ill come and tell you once i find it out. don't worry." he smiled, and turned to walk out of camp.

as they walked out of camp Foxfire looked at sunhinePAW "hows your eyes?" she asked like she hasked every day.

"mommy, one of these days you're going to realize that ill never be able to see. ive learned to cope with it. it doesnt make me helpless."

Foxfire sighed. " im your mother im always going to worry about you." she felt guilty. What did she do? why did one kit die and one was blind? and why was Moonkit so wierd? why did she stop out of the clear blue sometimes and not say anything, just stare into space and then say she spoke to Streakspirit? what was wrong with dustkit? the only kit she had ever seen lift things on his own? why were they all so strange? what did Foxfire do wrong. She started to cry silently as they waved good bye to Lily and Longkit. "why dont you take our kits training?" foxfire suggested to slushheart. not looking at him, not showing him her tears.

Twilightbrook walked over and smiled. " yeah slushheart we'll take the apperentices training."

slushheart nodded. "let's go."

sunshinepaw followed her father, "come on sis." she mewled.

slushheart made his way to the riverclan borders and waited for the others.

Twilightbrook was next he sat next to Slushheart, this was his first apperentice and he wouldnt screw it up.

Moonpaw followed her sister. saying everything in the way, being quite annoyying. "no...watch out. theres a rock...sticks coming up soon, a tree WATCH OUT!" she sat next to her dad as Sunshinepaw sat down.

sunshinepaw blinked, sighing. "come on moonpaw i can take care of myself." she yawned, exposing very white teeth. she sat.

slushheart turned to the group. "if any cats come, remember this is a patrol, we will fight them off. no running. we are going to patrol the borders. that is one of the first training places."

sunshinepaw nodded. "so where are we? what clan is beside us?"

slushheart blinked. "shadowclan. that scent of carrion and pine. thunderclan smells of forest, and windclan smells of rabbits." he blinked.

Twilightbrook sighed. He felt stupid. but he was trying,right? "its important for us to re new our borders every once in a while or when there was heavy rains. To make sure that other clans know this is our land and our prey." he smiled.

Moonpaw sighed. " im sorry sunshinepaw im just looking out for you... i love you and i dont want anything to happen."

"i know sis i know." sunshinepaw mewled. "thats why we mark are territory stupid." she replied to twilightbrook.

"well let's keep going." slushheart answered.

Twilightbrook turned bright red. He was trying but this wasnt his apperentice so he couldnt teach her much about respect. He followed behind Slushheart.

Moonpaw thought hard, letting her thoughts flow to her sister. 'leave Twilight alone its his first apperentice! hes trying his best!"

"whatever. he'll learn." sunshinepaw blinked.

slushheart rolled his eyes and continued to walk.

moonpaw sighed. 'no be nice to our uncle! hes had it bad.'

Twilightbrook watched Sunshinepaw and moonpaw.

"it gets annoying when every cat thinks you need their help just because you're blind."

Moonpaw stopped in her tracks. She loved her sister...why was she being so mean? 'whats really bothering you?' she thought to her sister, glad that no one could hurt them.

'i dont think anyone is willing to give me a chance to be myself. everyone thinks that i need to be led, i dont. i have other senses besides sight. i feel worthless.'

'your not worthless its just i worry about you just like i worry about daddy, hes leader and i worry about mom and i worry about dustkit and uncle Twilightbrook and aunt ravenwolf...I worry about everyone.'

'yea but everyone is taking my disability to seriously. i hate it when a cat thinks they need to lead me when i feel fine. of course you worry, but you dont have to let it overcome you.'

Moonpaw nodded and sighed. 'im sorry sis im just scared for you and mom. shes already lost mothkit i dont want her to lose you because you walked into a flowing river!'

'dont worry, i can smell the river and hear the waves before i go near it. you won't lose me. mom will be fine, mothkit is in starclan now. you know streakspirit is taking care of her now.'

Moonpaw closed her eyes. 'I know remember?" she said, Moonpaw always talked to Streakspirit. 'i wont help you anymore..ok?' she promised.

Twilightbrook ran ahead to Slushheart "where are we going again?"

"we've gone around the borders, does anyone want to learn to hunt?"

Moonpaw wanted to but didnt care. She knew this information was useless to her but she was curious.

Twilightbrook smiled. He was good at hunting.

'remember medicine cats need to hunt too to feed themselves on their trips.' sunshinepaw reminded her sister. "ok dad."

slushheart mewed. "so, prey smells very lively and its scent is unmistakable. after you smell a mouse, you have to find it and chase it down. in your case sunshinepaw, you'll have to follow its steps until you find it and catch it. then you kill it with a soft chew at the neck just enough to kill it. rabbits you have to hear for and step softly."

sunshinepaw nodded, lowering her body as if she had scented something.

Moonpaw nodded to her dad. she looked around seeing a mouse but a long ways away. She walked slowly to him,low on the ground. she was so close. She lowered herself depper to the ground only a few mouse tails away. She pounced! She bit into his neck, it died instantly. She picked it up in her mouth and dragged it to her dad."i did it dad!"

"im proud moonpaw." slushheart blinked, smiling.

sunshinepaw sniffed in. she smelt mouse. she lowered her body, her ears aching to hear pawsteps. she felt herself move forward. and she finally heard the mouse's steps. one, two, three, four, one, two, three, four. sunshinepaw heard the mouse shriek. and she knew it had seen her, so she jumped. she felt a soft body between her claws, and dug into it. she heard another little shriek. she had killed the mouse.

Moonpaw dropped the mouse at her dads feet and ran to Sunshinepaw " you did it!" she exclaimed. she went back to her mouse.

Twilightbrook smiled. "when you catch a mouse do not eat it. The clan comes first. did a hole and then come back for it when your done. If you dont dig a hole and put it in it then a badger could come and eat it." Twilightbrook smiled. He was so happy that he was started to sound like that warrior he was. He sighed again he was an apperentice for almost a year not to mention that he was never trained.

sunshinepaw smiled. she dug her claws into the undergrowth and dug. she buried her mouse, and found the dirt to fill it back up with.
